International Beer Festival! Here are the many different kinds of beer that I had:

From Germany  Grolsch. I think this was my favourite beer of the night. I also had Becks...it was pretty good too

From Ireland

Harp Irish Lager...it was playful - so it said in the brochure.

I also had Caffrey's Irish Ale...it tasted like water with a beer aftertaste.

...it gets a little picture

I really wanted to try Britain's Bass Pale Ale. Even though it says pale ale, it's a darker beer. They were all out though, so I had Brazil's A Marca Bavaria instead...it was like Corona.

Since it was like Corona, I liked it. I think the International Beer night was a good idea - I was surprised to see how many different kinds of beer I had already tried, so tonight I had every kind I hadn't tried. MMMmmmmMMM....there was also BBQ'd sausage to eat, and I won a beer glass. It seems that every glass I have is a beer glass, so if any of you decide to visit Greg and I, you will be drinking from some sort of beer glass.

Sounds like my Oktoberfest night, although I really didn't like the German beer.

I've never been a big fan of German beer. Always has too much bite for my taste. Glad you had fun!

MJ you're an idiot. Yes Grolsch is an excellent lager but everyone knows it is from Holland, not Germany. Also Becks is awesome too.

The cool thing about living in Europe is that these and many more beers are sold at domestic prices whereas I have to pay nearly $6 for a Bud (in a smaller bottle) as it is an import. Boo

You need to come visit me here!  The beer lists in our bars are huge.  They are like pages and pages of different types of beers.  Nobody ever knows how to chose!

Sorry Matty...they had the German & Holland beers lumped together. Grolsh is brewed under the German Purity Law though.
